3SG Members Site

3SG is an organisation set up to help, nurture and represent to local gov't the "3rd sector" in Bath and North East Somerset - the 3rd sector being charities, non-profits and other community groups. Their site implements a members area, a news blog, the scheduling of events, recruitment and resource sharing - with many of their services only being available to logged-in members. Members also get a discounted rate when placing job ads and can immediately pay for the ad placement using the supported Stripe gateway.

The site was developed using Wix's Editor-X editor, allowing excellent responsivity on the site, using the entiree browser window on all form-factors. No third party add-ons, which add cost to any site, were used in the development but Velo code (Wix's Javascript-based API) was used extensively to extend the functionality of the basic functions provided. These include populating an external CRM database that 3SG use to run their business, as organisations become members and users sign up to gain access.

Advertising revenue nearly doubled, with the introduction of the new site, as we made adding and paying for job ads so much simpler, compared to the previous site.
